She knew exactly what she was attracted to and she went out and got it, and her father and the old white dudes in Venice can’t believe their ears!
Pay attention to the word ‘ear’ which gets repeated a LOT in this scene too. Is it a coincidence that ear is Elizabethan slang for vagina?
