Summary
(drumroll…) The first episode! The one the world has been waiting for! OK… getting carried away already. But that’s what we’ll be doing here and always – getting carried away, as we explore the ins and outs of Shakespeare’s characters (so to speak) and hopefully inspire you to think about him and his writing differently. This first episode explores some basics about how Shakespeare planned out his plays. Who are the groundlings? What is comic relief good for? What does it mean to be in an audience? Who the f*ck are we and why do we care? Why are small parts important (not THOSE small parts… even though, yes, they are…)? And lots of other babble. Enjoy!
